Choosing childcare

The Lambeth Families Information Service provides information about choosing childcare in Lambeth.

If you would like to talk to a member of staff about the childcare you need please call 0845 601 5317 or email fis@lambeth.gov.uk. We can send you details of childcare in your local area, appropriate for your child's age and childminders with vacancies.

Young Lambeth

Young Lambeth website provides up to date information on services, activities, events and childcare options for children, young people, families and practitioners in Lambeth.

Paying for childcare

We can provide you with guidance on the funding you can get towards the cost of childcare, this includes:

• free early learning (for all three and four year old children)
• childcare tax credit (for working parents/carers)
• Care to Learn (funding for 16 to 19 year old parents or carers who are students)
• funding for parents/carers returning to work

Day nurseries
