Education Business Partnership (EBP) - Work experience and mentoring
Lambeth Education Business Partnership (EBP) aims to bring business and local community organisations together with schools, colleges and youth centres. We provide real experiences of work for young people in the borough; through the traditional route of 2 weeks work experience during school and also through innovative work related learning opportunities and flexible work experience placements. We also focus on working with employers to develop apprenticeship opportunities.
Lambeth EBP also offers work related learning in its Youth Centres and encourages young people to try different areas of work and explore enterprise opportunities outside of the usual school parameters. Activities such as horticulture, jewellery making and media projects develop skills that will help young people to enter employment successfully.
