Rush Common

Rush Common land on Brixton HillRush Common, along with Max Roach Park, forms a green corridor through Brixton, to the east of the busy A23.

St Matthew's Church Gardens and Tate Gardens both form part of the Rush Common lands, and along with Windrush Square, extend the area of open space northwards into central Brixton.

Facilities include a dog-free children's play area.

Help us look after Rush Common

Rush Common is managed by Lambeth Parks and Greenspaces and comes under the Central Lambeth Parks Area. It also comes under an area patrolled by the Brixton Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team of Lambeth Borough Police, who work in partnership with the council and community to make sure the site is safe and welcoming for everybody.

Please remember that whilst dogs are welcome on Rush Common, please keep all dogs under close control or on a lead, and remove any wastes or place them in the bins provided.
