Water Pollution

Our officers investigate certain water supplies, including private water supplies and bathing water.

The water supplies we investigate are:

• private water supplies, for those who extract their water from private boreholes
• bathing waters, including swimming pools at leisure centres, jacuzzis and hydrotherapy pools
• mains water, including manufacturers of foods and drinks, as well as, on occasion, domestic supply following investigation by the statutory water undertaker, Thames Water.
