Future Streatham
The council is currently developing a masterplan for the Streatham High Road area, in consultation with local residents and businesses. The masterplan sets out the type of development that people would like to see in the area and helps Streatham make the most of its development opportunities.
Plans to bring a new state-of-the-art ice rink, swimming pool and leisure centre to Streatham have reached another major milestone with the end of the feasibility review period. Tesco, our partner in the project, will now be tendering for a contractor for this ambitious project.

The council is developing a masterplan in order to make the most of the opportunities available, set out what type of development should happen and help protect and enhance the best things about the area. There will be a public workshop on Wednesday 16 July at Streatham Baptist Church, 22 Lewin Road.
