consultation workshop in Norwood The council, in consultation with local residents, businesses, and groups, has created a masterplan for the West Norwood area.

Consultation took place throughout 2008 and into 2009 to find out what you wanted the future of Norwood to be like. Find out more about the different stages of consultation below.

The masterplan was approved by the council's Cabinet in June 2009.

Stage Four - April 2009

The fourth and final stage of consultation took place between 1 - 14 April 2009. The draft masterplan was available by download on the Council's website or at West Norwood Library and based upon the comments made the masterplan was further honed and amended. Thank you for those that took the time to review it and submit comments.

Stage Three - October to November 2008

The third stage of consultation involved an exhibition, public workshops and a public meeting.

Stage Two - June to August 2008

In the second stage we worked together with consultants EDAW to prepare three masterplan options for West Norwood. Over the summer of 2008 these options were discussed with residents and businesses. They prompted further discussion and debate on what was important to the public for West Norwood. Stage One - January to May 2008

In the first stage of our consultation period we talked to residents and businesses about their experiences of West Norwood – what they liked, what they didn’t like and how they thought it could change for the better.
