Changes to our recycling and waste services from April 2011
We have made changes to our recycling and waste services. These changes, which came into effect on 4 April 2011, are the result of a waste strategy that we have been developing over the last two years with your help. Our aim is to help change behaviour, increase recycling, reduce the amount of waste that is produced and reduce the growing costs of waste collection and disposal.

If you want to dispose of large items such as fridges, freezers and mattresses we offer a bulky waste collection service. You will need to pay a fee to use the service.
If you live in a food waste collection area you must recycle your food waste.
