You can apply for a disabled people's parking bay near to your home if you are a blue badge holder.

How to apply for a parking bay

You can download a printable disabled person's parking bay application form.

The applicant may be either a driver or a passenger.

Send the completed application form to:

What happens next?

The accessible transport unit will verify that the applicant is a current blue badge holder.

They send the application to our parking services who will start the process of installing the parking bay close to the applicant's home.

Using the parking bay

Disabled parking bays are not installed on yellow lines, council estates or outside garage entrances

Once the parking bay is installed it can be used by any blue badge holder - it is not the applicant's exclusive parking bay.

Disabled people parking in these bays must display their blue badges at all times.
