White Badge - Lambeth-only residents' disabled parking permit
What is it?
The Lambeth White Badge is a type of disabled permit which can only be issued to people who hold a current Blue Badge.
The vehicle in which it is displayed may be parked 24 hours a day in Lambeth disabled parking bays only without the need to display a blue disabled badge.
The White Badge may be used in Lambeth disabled parking bays only.
The White Badge is issued to a specific vehicle and (unlike the Blue Badge) cannot be swapped between different vehicles.
Why was it introduced?
The White Badge was introduced to stop theft of blue badges left in a vehicle overnight. Because the badge is vehicle specific it is of no use to anyone else and therefore will not be targeted by thieves.
Who is it for?
You can only apply for a White Badge if you are a Lambeth resident and a Blue Badge holder. Carers responsible for a disabled dependent who is a minor are also eligible to apply.
How can I apply for a White Badge?
You will need to fill out an application form and send it to the London Borough of Lambeth.
