Check The Label campaign - Family support services
This stage of the campaign is centred around promoting family support services across the borough and focuses on the following four themes:
Family Learning
Family learning helps parents understand how their children learn and encourages families to learn together. Activities are available around the borough where parents, carers, grandparents and children can learn together to achieve best outcomes for the children.
Services for families with children with disabilities
Finding the right service for a disabled child is not always easy. There are a number of professionals that can help parents and carers to find suitable provision for their child and fun and stimulating activities to take part in.
Childcare and back to work
Families Information Service advise parents on their childcare choices, cost and location, help available for paying for childcare and support services that enable parents in going back to work or training.
