Consultation

In order to meet the requirements in the Children Act 2004 and provide the best services for all Lambeth children and young people, we need to develop a common understanding of the needs of children and young people through various stages in their lives and the needs of their families.

Therefore, the views and wishes of children and young people will be at the heart of service planning and improvement.

It is key that we have an ongoing and effective process of consulting children, young people, their families, the various providers of children and young people's services across Lambeth and all other stakeholders.

How will we do this?

Lambeth's Children's and Young People's Strategic Partnership (CYPSP) has a consultative forum called the Assembly who meet quarterly to review policy and dicuss the implications for it’s implementation across the Borough.

What is the Assembly?

To ensure participation of the voluntary and community sector, we have established a voluntary and community sector forum which is providing valuable input to the programme.
