The culturally diverse learning disabilities group

The group works with the learning disabilities partnership board to look at services for people with learning disabilities who are from different cultures in Lambeth.

We are looking at the following:

• Making services easier to use
• Helping services to meet the cultural needs of service users and carers
• Working within the learning disabilities and ethnicity framework
• Working with the learning disabilities partnership board to use the ethnicity tool kit
• Advising the partnership board on cultural issues
• Working with other groups
