Housing and planning
Our housing services range from overseeing the management of 30,000 council homes and more than 10,000 leasehold properties to regenerating and maintaining the condition and environment of these homes. We also provide assistance to homeless families looking for housing and support within the private sector.
Our planning services are outlined in the planning pages, where you can apply for planning application and check the progress of planning applications online, get the latest planning news, and find information on policy, enforcement, conservation, urban design and much more.
Have your say on Lambeth's Housing Strategy
By 2013 there will be an extra 6000 new homes in Lambeth, significant improvements to existing dwellings and a high quality, carbon friendly physical environment. Achieving this in the current economic climate is going to be challenging. We have just undertaken a thorough review of Lambeth's housing strategy, the document which explains how this will be achieved and we would like to hear your views before it is finalised. For more information go to the Lambeth Housing Strategy page.
