Council housing rent rise 2010-11

Council housing rents are set to rise this year by an average of £2.60 a week. The rent level has been set in line with Government guidelines and still means that Lambeth's rents are well below the highest council rents in London.

Transfer incentive scheme

We encourage and assist tenants living in properties with two or more bedrooms who are under-occupying the property to move to smaller homes that meet their needs.
