Where can I park with my permit?

Each permit issued will be for a specific estate. This is normally based on the applicant's address. 

For a renewal of my permit, why do I have to show my documents again?

The applicant may have moved to an address different from the first application and we need to confirm that they are still eligible for a permit.

Why do we need parking restrictions?

Recent years have seen a large rise in the number of vehicles on our estates.

When we enforce the rules on parking properly, it helps us all by ensuring that:

• We have safer roads on our estates - greater safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
• There is less non - resident parking (unless an authorised visitor) ensuring a greater availability of parking spaces for residents and disabled people.
• There is better access for emergency and service vehicles.
• We spend less money on repairing pavements.
• We have a cleaner environment.
