Direct Debit prize draw - terms and conditions
If you instruct your bank/building society to pay your rent by Direct Debit, and the request is accepted, you will be entered into our prize draw.
- Closing date for entries is 31 March 2008
- Only one entry per person
- Entrants must be 18 or over
- Prize draw is only open to legal tenants of the London Borough of Lambeth
- A person will only be entered if their Direct Debit is successfully set up by their bank
- Direct Debit payers who have already won will not be entered into future draws
- Tenants in arrears will only be entered if they have an arrears repayment agreement in place, and have not missed any repayments
- If a tenant in arrears wins, the prize money will be used to pay off the arrears
- Prize draw is not open to anyone involved in the Direct Debit for Rent project or the draw (including Regeneration and Housing Finance)
- The prize is not transferable
- The council’s decision is final
The first prize draw will be held a month after Direct Debit for Rent is launched.
Winners will be notified using the contact details given on their application for Direct Debit.
