A small but very pleasing development of flats and terraced houses erected by the Church Commissioners in the 1900s.
Both Mitre Road and Ufford Street benefit from very unified architectural treatments: repetitive building types and common materials provide a strong character.
A small recreation ground and mission hall on the corner of Ufford Street and Webber Street is also included in this Conservation Area.
