Planning Applications Committee
The Planning Applications Committee considers and decides many of the larger and more controversial planning applications submitted to Lambeth including some changes of use, large extensions, applications involving A3 uses, redevelopments etc.
Planning officers present their reports and recommendations to the Councillors who sit on the committee. Members of the public can speak at the meeting either in favour or in opposition to an application, but to do so, you need to contact our Democratic Services team in advance (Telephone 020 7926 2170 or email democracy@lambeth.gov.uk) to register your intention to speak. The Councillors on the committee decide whether to grant or refuse planning permission for these applications.

The current Planning Applications Committee comprises a single committee and has operated this way since April 2011.
Between May 2007 and March 2011 the Planning Applications Committee was replaced by two separate committees Planning Applications Committee 1 (PAC1) and Planning Applications Committee A (PACA).
Before May 2007 the Planning Applications Committee was a single committee and details of these committees, including reports, minutes are also available online.
