Examination Hearing

Information about the LDF Core Strategy examination hearing, including the programme, Issues and Matters and participants.

The Examination Hearing took place in September 2010 and is now closed. The Inspector's report was received on 6 December 2010 and found the Core Strategy sound.

Responses to the inspector's questions

The council has prepared statements in response to the Issues and Matters raised by the Planning Inspector. Representors appearing at the hearing session have also prepared responses to Issues and Matters raised. These can be viewed at:

Schedules of proposed changes

At the request of the Inspector the council has prepared two Schedules of Proposed Changes to the Core Strategy:

  • Schedule A - Council's suggested changes to address soundness matters during Examination hearings (updated 29 September 2010)
  • Schedule B - Minor Changes (editing) to the Core Strategy Submission Version (March 2010) and Changes to the Proposals Map Submission Version (March 2010) – Additional changes post Submission (updated 29 September and 18 January 2011).
