Pre-submission publication of the Local Development Framework (LDF) Core Strategy
On 21 October 2009 the council approved the Core Strategy for pre-submission publication, following approval by Cabinet on 14 September 2009.
Pre-submission publication took place over a six week period between 2 November and 14 December 2009. At this stage representations were only made in relation to legal compliance and soundness, using the standard representations form:
Copies of all responses received during pre-submission publication will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration alongside the Submission Core Strategy, together with a Summary of Key Issues setting out the council’s response to points raised. In contrast to previous stages of consultation, the council will not be making any further substantial changes to the Core Strategy prior to submitting the Plan to the government. However, a Schedule of Minor Post-Publication Changes (editing) will be prepared and submitted to the Planning Inspectorate.
