Housing Development and House Conversions

Lambeth Council consulted during August and September 2008 on a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) which provides guidance for applicants preparing all forms of housing schemes, from new build, change of use to flat conversions.

The SPD addresses a number of important issues such as minimum room sizes, overall floor areas, provision of amenity space and children’s play space. It also provides further guidance to supplement the UDP policy on flat conversions.
