Preparing the Lambeth Local Development Framework (LDF) Consultation

Core Strategy issues and options - have your say

All local areas are required to produce a Local Development Framework (LDF) for their area. An LDF is a collection of documents designed to guide the development of the borough over the next 10-15 years.

The Core Strategy is the first and most important document in the LDF. It will set out the overall vision for the sustainable development of the borough, the objectives we want to achieve and the strategic policies required to achieve them.

Work on the Core Strategy started in January 2008. We began with an initial consultation on the issues we should address. This consultation ran during February to March 2008 and closed on 17 March 2008.

We are now consulting on Issues and Options. Please download and read a copy of the Issues and Options consultation document before completing the online questionnaire.

The council is seeking comments during a six-week consultation period from Monday 28 April 2008 to Monday 9 June 2008.

Comments can be made by:

The closing date for receiving comments is Monday 9 June 2008.

Copies of documents associated with consultation including a copy of the questionnaire can be viewed and downloaded below, or at Lambeth's Town Planning Advice Centre and at all public libraries in Lambeth (during normal opening hours).

Further details regarding the consultation can viewed on our consultation diary pages.

If you have any questions on the consultation or the LDF in general then please contact Lambeth's Town Planning Advice Centre.
