Waterloo Conservation Area represents more than a century of development located close to the south bank of the Thames. It reflects the changing fortunes of the area thorugh the late 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Conservation Area includes parts of Cornwall Road, Stamford Street and Waterloo Road. The mix of building types and uses ranges from forma terraces to large commercial buildings.
