A linear development of 19th century commercial and retail properties laid as the area developed on the success of the Crystal Palace. Opposite is the London Borough of Croydon’s Upper Norwood Triangle Conservation Area. To the east is London Borough of Bromley’s Crystal Palace Park Conservation Area and to the West is Lambeth’s Gipsy Hill Conservation Area.
