Tenancy support for people living independently
The tenancy support service provided by One Support offers individual support to a range of people who need additional help to live independently.
The service supports people with multiple needs including:
- low level mental health
- alcohol dependency
- drug dependency
- physical disability
- domestic violence
- HIV and Aids
- mild learning disability
- young people at risk
- young people leaving care (18 years and over)
- offenders and people at risk of offending
- vulnerable families.
Eligibility criteria
You are eligible to access this service if you:
- are 18 and over
- have a local connection with the borough of Lambeth
- have support needs that can be met by the service.
Types of support offered
The service can offer support with:
- establishing and managing tenancies
- welfare benefits and maximising income
- independent living skills
- accessing community facilities
- training, education and social inclusion
- accessing appropriate agencies for specialist support
- accessing local support groups and resources
- dealing with neighbour disputes.
How to apply
The tenancy support service accepts referrals from a wide range of sources including self-referrals. Service availability
The service is available from 9:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday.
Occasional support can also be provided at weekends.
