Our More Jobs campaign is about everything we are doing to support you if you are looking for work.
We know times are tough, and people need help finding work and apprenticeships as well as access to training and education. Our campaign aims to help you by signposting the right advice, information and services.
Using our unique position as champion for the borough, we are also working hard to drive job creation by encouraging businesses to grow the local workforce, and our campaign will promote that work.
In addition, the national context of rising unemployment and changes in welfare legislation means the number of people needing support has increased. Our campaign aims to support you with advice and information about services and schemes we and our partners offer around access to employment, benefits, and financial advice.
