Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark film production fund
Now in its fourth year, the Southern Exposure Film Fund encourages filmmakers from Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham to develop their potential.
Production grants of up to £2,000 per project are offered alongside opportunities for tailor-made support and mentoring in areas such as script development, location management and marketing and distribution. Projects can be of any length and genre including documentary. Southern Exposure is committed to supporting original and exciting voices whatever the story. Cross borough working and the use of local crew and facilities is encouraged.
The nine winners of Southern Exposure grants for 2009 have been announced, and the projects were launched with a special screening of past winners work on 12 November.
This year's winners are currently in production and will be completed by 1 April 2010.
Applications for Southern Exposure 2010 are not yet open.
