Bargehouse

Bargehouse is an atmospheric space and part of Oxo Tower Wharf. A vast untouched four storey building, in its raw state, Bargehouse is a blank canvas with tremendous scope for exhibitions and events. Over four floors there is approximately 15,000 sq ft of display space although the building can be closed down to produce smaller spaces.

Brixton Art Space

Brixton Art Space is a dynamic, versatile and buzzing creative hub for all sorts of arts and creative services. The space is well equipped for dance, drama, aerobics, art exhibitions, meetings and conferences and photography. Additional equipment is available at an extra cost, including PA systems.
Studio details
Two fully equipped multi-use studios and recording studios with sprung flooring are available to hire.
- Studio One: 800m2 / 11m x 7m
Hire charge: £18 - £22 p/hour
- Studio Two: 700m2 / 8m x 8m
Hire charge: £13 - £15 p/hour
(Please note: there are no mirrors available in Studio Two.)
Facilities
Disabled access, air conditioning, small changing rooms, toilets with disabled access, heating, kitchen, lighting rigs, mirrors, piano, showers, stereo system, water cooler, public telephone and toilets.
Activities
- A range of regular classes take place at Brixton Art Space, including Pilates, belly dancing, drama workshops, street jazz, martial arts and yoga.
- Recording studios also available on site, with post production, live room, programming and engineer.
Please note: we cannot offer live rehearsal space.

Photofusion

Photofusion provides access to professional standard colour and black and white darkrooms, studio and digital imaging facilities and supports photographers by providing career development workshops, skills-based training and portfolio reviews with industry professionals. Photofusion also offers top of the range bureau services at lower rates than anywhere else in London.
Photofusion offers monthly or yearly membership which is a requirement of anyone wanting to use their rental facilities. However, they are still providing the cheapest services in the city and membership incorporates a range of benefits including discounts on: Photofusion courses, rentals at Calumet, photographic supplies at Silverprint and selected magazines sold in the gallery. You can also participate in regular members evenings - a chance to meet over drinks to see and discuss work and share information and ideas with fellow photographers.

Red Gate Gallery

Redgate Gallery was founded in 1998 as a non-profit making organisation. It not only hosts regular events/exhibitions, but also has studios and a darkroom on site. Located within the Loughborough Junction area, it aspires to raise the awareness and profile of all arts within this particular area.
It is offering an opportunity to various South London studios and Arts' groups in Lambeth to exhibit in the Red Gate Gallery premises. This program aims to draw Lambeth / South London artists closer together.
Red Gate Gallery is situated along a row of creatively filled railway arches (including metal workshop, graphic design studio, textiles studio, workshop space) within a vibrant, urban area of Brixton. The gallery also houses four studio spaces and a darkroom. Red Gate Gallery can be hired for exhibitions and welcomes proposals for other events, which in the past have included live bands, poetry readings, film screenings, performance art and stand-up comedy.

At the heart of Oxo Tower Wharf is the.gallery@oxo, a ground floor space of 1,500sq ft with public access from both the central courtyard and South Bank riverside walkway. The gallery exhibits a changing programme of exhibitions showcasing innovative contemporary art, design, photography and architecture.
The majority of exhibitions offer visitors the opportunity to buy or commission pieces on show. Shows by design collectives, product launches by established and emerging designers, international touring shows, and exhibitions by solo artists. Increasingly the gallery is hosting art exhibitions organised by charities working to present their issues in an inventive and accessible way using artistic installations.
