Garden Museum

Situated on the River Thames, next to Lambeth Palace, the Garden Museum provides the perfect location for your event. The Museum's Garden provides a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of central London and is an ideal setting for a pre-dinner drinks reception, a marquee event or a barbeque. The Poetry School

If you are looking for a venue to facilitate courses, workshops, meetings or other gatherings, the Poetry School has three flexible spaces available for hire at very affordable rates.  Rooms are free most weekdays and some weekends.

Size: Room 1 seats 14 people board-room style, room 2 seats 16 people - opening the partitioned wall it can be used as one space to seat up to 30. Room 3 has a separate entrance, seats 16 people board-room style with additional break-out space including a sofa and coffee table at the back.

Equipment: Tables and chairs sufficient to seat 14-16 people in each room, flip-charts and whiteboards are included and if you bring a projector, you can project onto a white wall. A hearing loop can be provided on request and tea and coffee are included in the hire fee.

Cost: £150 per day per room (room 1 and 2 are hired out together), shorter periods are calculated pro-rata and reductions may be made for Charities or Social Enterprises.

Disability Access: All rooms are situated on the ground floor, disabled accessible and has DDA compliant toilet facilities (only rooms 1 and 2).

Description: the ground floor has three rooms that can be opened into one large L-shaped room. A dinning room and kitchen are also available, as is access to a lovely garden.
