Brixton St Vincent's Community Centre

The Main Upper Hall has a vaulted ceiling and small stage area at one end. It is well lit with natural light and spot beam for ambient lighting.
Main daytime weekly use is for professional dance and theatre rehearsals. They can also accommodate trapeze rehearsals (at own risk). Excellent and well-used audition space.
There is a small prop room attached to the main hall for storage.
Floor: is lino on wood.

The Lower Hall
Can sometimes be used as rehearsal space or secondary rehearsal space as well as meetings.

There is also a food preparation area with lockable cupboards

Arch 468 Theatre Studio
Arch 468 Theatre Studio is a unique rehearsal space in Brixton established to provide good quality, affordable rehearsal space for the performing arts community.
The Studio is situated on Coldharbour Lane opposite Loughborough Junction rail station, approximately 12 minutes walk from Brixton tube.
It measures approximately 41.5 m sq, plus a mezzanine level 15.5 m sq (this has a low ceiling but it could be used as a cast chill out area when other performers are rehearsing).
The main body of the space measures approximately 5.3m x 6.1m plus an adjoining space underneath the mezzanine floor that measures approximately 2.5m x 3.6m and which connects to the main space forming an 'L' shape.
The mezzanine area above one side of the room and kitchen measures approximately 2.5m x 6.1m, with a low ceiling around 1.65m high.
There is a kitchen equipped with sink, fridge, kettle and microwave. The toilet is shared with the other residents of the four surrounding arches but is clean and has disabled access.
The space comes with a piano, table, chairs and a small CD player/ radio. The floor, although not sprung is made of wood mounted upon beams, so it is safe for dance rehearsals.
The design of the space gives plenty of natural light during the day time and can also be lit by electric bulbs.
Cost: The standard day slot is from 8.30 am to 5.30pm at £55 a day. The evening slot is 6.00pm to 10.00pm at £35 a session.

Clapham Common bandstand

The bandstand at Clapham Common is available to hire for rehearsals and commercial and public events.
Lambeth Council welcomes applications from local, regional and national groups including but not exclusive to music, theatre, dance, one-day art exhibitions and educational classes. The space is ideal for musical events and rehearsals as well as smaller, quirky performances. The Bandstand houses a three-phase and 13amp electricity supply. Available upon request are deckchairs for audience seating and white picket fencing for enclosing the event.

Escape Bar and Art - rehearsal space available

The venue will make its money from bar sales - your show can take 100% of the door money in return for marketing your night.

The Nettlefold

Theatre and rehearsal space in West Norwood.
Main Floor
The auditorium with a large stage, 2 dressing rooms both with toilet and shower backstage, retractable raked seating (213), full theatre lighting rig and PA system.
Note: when raked seating not in use the space has a sprung wooden floor with under-floor heating ideal for any kind of movement/dance classes or rehearsals.
Lower Floor
The smaller space on this level has tables and chairs (seating for 70) with a serving hatch from the kitchen, bar area and toilets.
Note: tables can be stored at the sides to leave a clear space, in this case the maximum standing on this level would be 100.
Although the hire of The Nettlefold usually covers both floors (one kitchen, one set of toilets) for small meetings and events that can share the facilities there is the opportunity to separate.
