Computers in libraries
All local libraries in Lambeth have computers offering free high-speed internet access, allowing you to:
- Surf the internet for free over a high-speed network
- Stay in touch with family and friends through email
- Use a range of office applications
- Get free access to a range of subscription-based internet resources.
The service is available to all library members and there is no age limit (although if you are under the age of 16, a parent or guardian must sign your library membership application form). Non-members, please download the library membership application form.
Computers may be booked an hour at a time, using our automated booking system. With effect from 19 September 2011, the grace period will be reduced from 15 minutes to 10 minutes. Booked sessions will be cancelled automatically after 10 minutes if you fail to arrive in time for your booking.
Telephone your local library or visit in person to make your booking.
Please remember that the library computers are in a public space open to people of all ages; as such, all computer users must abide by our acceptable use policy.
