West Norwood Library
West Norwood library is situated next to the main gate of West Norwood cemetery. It offers books, DVDs and CDs for loan, a reference and information service, and free use of computers for Internet, email and word-processing.
The library also holds a small collection of books in French, German, Hindi, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish and Urdu.
We also have online resources and services for you to use along with Job hunting and Choice-based Lettings drop-in sessions.
Closure information
The re-opening of West Norwood Library and Nettlefold Hall has been delayed due to essential interior repairs.
We will update this page as soon as we have a date for the reopening of the buildings to our customers.
If you wish to return items, you can use the library return box, situated near the car park. Alternatively you can return or renew your items at any other Lambeth library, by phone or online.

- There are two Disabled toilets: one in the Nettlefold Hall section and also one in the library area.

There is no Induction Loop.
Nettlefold Hall offers a wide range of facilities and caters for theatre productions, meetings, classes, workshops, parties and conferences.
BBC listening post
West Norwood library is piloting a new reading experience in partnership with the BBC.
A selection of broadcasts from BBC Radio’s vast archive of book-related programming – in particular from BBC Radio 4 – are being made available to library users at the touch of a button via new in-branch listening posts.
Come along, sit back and lose yourself listening to poetry, drama, book reading and more.
The listening post is being used in partnership with the Poetry Archive.
West Norwood holds Lambeth's major poetry collection so now not only can you go and borrow your favourite poetry book you can also sit back and enjoy poetry on the listening post.
West Norwood also holds a music score collection.

Did you know West Norwood library holds an enhanced poetry collection that ranges from the the best loved prize-winning poets to others you have yet to discover?
The collection can be accessed from the library shelves or, for the older books, by request through a FREE reservation at your local Lambeth library.
Music Scores
West Norwood Library also holds Lambeth’s music score collection containing a wide range of music; from the classical Mozart and Chopin, to the Rolling Stones, Aretha and Whitney. Maybe Muse, Green Day or even Outcast take your fancy?
