Older persons' library service

If you are over 50 (and beyond), just have a look at what our libraries have to offer. There are many events and activities available all over the borough.

Recent monthly meetings have included:

  • Aromatherapy
  • Homeopathy
  • Age Concern presentations on health, safety in the home, as well as gardening and handyman advice
  • Film projects
  • Visits to Kew Gardens, the Florence Nightingale Museum and the Museum of Garden History
  • Reminiscence sessions
  • Free computer workshops at many libraries
  • Local beat police officers advice sessions
