Older persons' library service
If you are over 50 (and beyond), just have a look at what our libraries have to offer. There are many events and activities available all over the borough.
Recent monthly meetings have included:
- Aromatherapy
- Homeopathy
- Age Concern presentations on health, safety in the home, as well as gardening and handyman advice
- Film projects
- Visits to Kew Gardens, the Florence Nightingale Museum and the Museum of Garden History
- Reminiscence sessions
- Free computer workshops at many libraries
- Local beat police officers advice sessions
