Libraries

Join our libraries for free and you can:

• borrow books, videos, DVDs, CDs, talking books and language courses at any of the nine local libraries.
• use our online resources and services which include free E-books, audio book downloads, a local community database and online catalogue
• use our libraries to study, join a homework or a book group, or listen to stories and talks by authors
• use our home visit service if you are not able to visit a library in person
• go to one of our library events including our annual events such as Black History Month
• find out what other readers in Lambeth are reading and ask librarians to recommend their favourite books to you. Lambeth libraries issue thousands of books every year.

Lambeth Archives, the borough's record office and local history library, is open to the public and free to use.

Upper Norwood Joint Library is an independent library service, funded by Croydon and Lambeth Councils, but is not part of either borough's library services.
