Sports and recreation
We are committed to the provision and development of sport and recreation in Lambeth.
There are four leisure centres, a community sports centre and a Lido in the borough, plus facilities for a wide range of sports in our parks and green spaces.

The Us Girls programme is funded by Sport England and is aimed at getting young women aged 16 to 25 years more active and involved in sport and physical activity.
The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games gives young people in Lambeth the chance to try out for a place in a team and represent their borough. Over 30 sports are represented, ranging from archery to weightlifting.
Lambeth is keen to find and attract budding young sports for our teams/sports. Therefore, for example, if you’re a budding tennis player or rower, please free to contact us for further training information details.
Lambeth LYG Swimming trials
Lambeth are hosting trials to select the squad to represent the borough in this year’s swimming competition.
Mini games: School years 5 – 6
Main games: Junior event: School years 7 – 9, Senior event: School years 10 – 12
Events (50m): Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly and Relay
When? Sunday 24th February, 2.00pm - 4.00pm

The Lambeth REAL Plus card gives you generous discounts at Lambeth leisure centres whether you are using the facilities at peak or off peak times.
