Clapham Leisure Centre update
Following the funding confirmation, Cathedral Group can now progress development work on the leisure centre site and the centre will close from Friday 15 January 2010 at 10pm.
The new centre is planned to open in November 2011 and will be accessible for all, including people with disabilities and families. The new leisure centre’s features will include:
- a six lane swimming pool and teaching pool
- fitness gym
- a four court sports hall
- dance, yoga and martial arts studios
- rooms for community groups and exercise classes.
Until the 15 January at 10pm the centre's normal activity programme will continue.
During the redevelopment you will be able to use alternative Lambeth leisure centres.
A new timetable for group exercise classes will begin Monday 18 January 2010 and is available here and on the GLL website. GLL will also be writing to customers with casual and monthly memberships explaining how they will be affected during the redevelopment.

- Saturday: 8am to 6pm
- Sunday: 8am to 9pm
