For those looking to promote or deliver sports, we run courses on coaching and capacity building and provide guidance on sports grants and funding.

Activate Festival of Sport

The Activate Sports Festival has kicked off Lambeth Council's countdown to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The festival gace visitors young and old of all abilities the opportunity to 'have a go' at Olympic and Paralympic sports such as tennis, rowing, cycling, badminton.

Community Sports

We are committed to increasing the number and quality of opportunities for residents to get involved with sport locally. We aim particularly to work with local groups and clubs to develop resources and ensure the sustainability of sport in Lambeth.

This work includes supporting community sports schemes, training programmes for volunteers, leaders and coaches, and providing information and support for local groups and clubs, including advice on planning and fundraising.
