London Youth Games 2012
The London Youth Games are a unique season of events involving all 33 London Boroughs and 26 national sporting governing bodies. The year over 50,000 young people across London were involved in the competition. The Games are free and open to all young people, aged between 7 and 17, living in or going to school in the capital.
The Games offer young people of varying abilities and experience the opportunity to compete in their chosen sport. The Games have been a stepping stone in the careers of international and Olympic athletes.
Notable former athletes include Linford Christie, Steve Backley and Luol Deng (former Lambeth athlete) as well as two of Great Britain's gold medallists at Beijing 2008 - Mark Hunter and Christine Ohuruogu as well as Paralympian Dervis Konuralp.

Nominations for 2012
To either nominate a young athlete or sportsperson, or express your interest in being considered for a place on one of the Team Lambeth squads, complete and return one of the following forms:
- Form for teachers and coaches
This form tells us about talented and enthusiastic children and young people you think are good enough to be considered for Team Lambeth.
- Form for young sports people
This form lets us know you want to be considered for your team sport and are interested in receiving further information.
Trials and training 2012
Lambeth trials and training sessions gives information on what you need to do to pre-qualify for certain events and what training sessions are available to help you prepare.
