Proposed improvements for your street

Following residents concerns regarding speeding vehicles and general road safety on your streets, Lambeth is asking if you consider a need for Road Safety Improvements, and if so, what form these improvements should take.

Loughborough Junction Cambria Road proposed improvements

We are working with Loughborough Junction Action Group (LJAG) to make changes that would transform Cambria Road into an attractive street for walking and cycling and we are inviting the local community to get involved.

In response to concerns of residents over volume and size of traffic on Baytree Road we have worked closely with residents to draw up a solution to traffic volumes and we would like to know what you think of the proposal. 

Ferrer's Triangle Proposed Cycle Parking

Following requests for secure cycle parking in the area we would like to make it much easier and safer to park your bicycle.

We have received funding from Transport for London (TfL) specifically to provide residential cycle parking in the borough and propose to install up to four units in the area of Ferrer’s Triangle. 

Knight's Hill proposed 20 mph zone

Following residents' concerns about road safety in the Knight's Hill area and a subsequent public workshop, Lambeth council has developed proposals and now asks for your views. We are proposing to introduce a 20mph zone in order to reduce the danger on roads within your residential area. It aims to lower vehicle speeds and improve the general environment so that residents are encouraged to walk and cycle more.

Brixton West 20mph zone

This gives details of the road safety proposals in Brixton West. The consultation took place from 13 November 2009 to 4 December 2009. You will also find the consultation report showing how people responded as well as the feedback letter.

Gipsy Hill 20mph zone

This gives details of the road safety proposals in Gipsy Hill. The consultation took place from 18 November 2009 to 15 December 2009. You will also find the consultation report showing how people responded.

Knight's Hill Local Safety Scheme

This gives details of consultation proposals and results for Knight's Hill. The consultation took place from 18 November 2009 to 16 December 2009.

Lancaster Avenue Local Safety Scheme

This gives details of consultation proposals and consultation results for Lancaster Avenue. The consultation took place from 17 November 2009 to 15 December 2009.

Windmill Drive Environmental Improvement and Local Safety Scheme

This gives details of consultation proposal and results for Windmill Drive.The consultation initially took place from 1 July to 22 July 2009. Due to a high level of interest the consultation period was extended to the 10 August 2009

Streatham Vale and Greyhound Lane Local Safety Scheme

This gives details of consultation proposals for Streatham Vale and Greyhound Lane. The consultation will be from 24 February 2010 to 19 March 2010.

Silverthorne Walk Local Safety Scheme
