Some garages and other business which sell cars can sometimes park them for long periods of time on the road using up valuable parking spaces. We now target hot spot areas to remove these vehicles.
Vehicles registered outside the UK
These vehicles pay road tax in their country of origin. We will remove these vehicles if they are deemed to be abandoned.
Classic and vintage cars
Vehicles over 25 years are considered classic vehicles. These vehicles MUST still display a valid tax disc or they risk being classed as abandoned and removed.
Our service standards
- We aim to investigate reported abandoned cars within 24 hours of being notified of a problem.
- We remove most abandoned cars within 1 week of being notified. Potentially dangerous cars will be removed much sooner.
- Illegally traded vehicles will be removed as and when they're found.
- We will remove your unwanted vehicles within 10 days of recieving your V5.
