Unwanted vehicles - free take back service

You can get rid of your unwanted vehicle free of charge, using our free take back service.

If your vehicle is registered to a Lambeth address and is located within the borough we will come and take it to a safe disposal site.

How to get your vehicle collected

You will need to send us the original registration certificate (V5/VC5/logbook) along with a covering letter including:

• the location of the vehicle
• the vehicle's registration number
• your telephone number
• permission to remove and destroy your vehicle

We aim to remove the vehicle within ten working days of the request being processed. Please make sure the vehicle is accessible from the street.

Please note, until we collect the vehicle you are still responsible for maintaining the tax and parking permits.
