Unwanted vehicles - free take back service

You can get rid of your unwanted vehicle free of charge, using our free take back service.

We will come to your house or the location of the vehicle (providing it is in the borough) and remove your unwanted vehicle to a safe disposal site.

How to get your vehicle collected

All you need to do is post us the original registration certificate (V5) along with covering letter giving us the location of the vehicle, your phone number and permission to remove and destroy your vehicle.

If your vehicle is not registered in Lambeth you will also need to send proof that you live in the borough.

We aim to remove the vehicle within ten working days of the request being processed. Please make sure the vehicle is accessible from the street.

Please note, until we collect the vehicle you are still responsible for maintaining the tax and parking permits.
