Car parks
We operate three car parks, located in Brixton, Streatham and Norwood.
Brixton multi-storey car park is currently closed
Detailed surveys have been carried out on the condition of the car park and the results of these surveys will determine what action can be taken. Updates will follow on this website.
Until the car park reopens, we advise customers to seek alternative ways to commute into and out of Brixton. If you need more information please contact the Lambeth Service Centre on 020 7926 9000 or email infoservice@lambeth.gov.uk.
While the car park is out of operation, we are doing all we can to minimise disruption. The council is working on providing new free short term bays in Brixton Station Road, Valencia Place, Electric Lane and Saltoun Road. It is hoped that these bays should be up and running by mid-May and will help relieve parking pressure elsewhere.

About the Brixton multi-story car park
Lambeth operates a multi-storey car park with 380 spaces, situated in Canterbury Crescent, to the rear of Brixton Police Station. There is also access through Wiltshire Road.

Popes Road

SW9 7QD
The car park is within a short walking distance to both Brixton mainline station and Brixton tube. It's conveniently situated less than five minutes away from Brixton Academy and Brixton's other main attractions.
There are 10 designated disabled bays within the car park, which are enlarged in size for wheelchair access. Four of the bays are located on Level two and there are six on Level four (which gives access to Brixton leisure centre via a walkway).
There are now 45 solo motorcycle spaces located at the entrance to the Brixton multi-storey car park on Canterbury Crescent. There is no charge for parking in these spaces, which are divided between two motorcycle bays, and they are available for use 24 hours a day.
Opening hours
The car park operates from 7am until 11:30pm, Monday to Saturday, and is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

To apply for your season ticket, download the Brixton multi-storey car park season ticket application form and hand the completed form in to the front office of the car park along with your payment. Application forms can also be obtained from the car park.
