Disabled badge and permit fraud

We have our own anti-fraud unit investigating all types of disabled badge and permit fraud.

Our work covers such things as:

• misuse of disabled badges
• use of counterfeit badges permits
• use of stolen badges and permits.

Anyone carrying out this type of fraud is depriving disabled people, residents and businesses of a parking place. They are also depriving the borough of vital revenue that would otherwise be used to:

• invest in the freedom pass scheme.
• improve road safety, pavements and street lighting.
• improve parking facilities.

With your help we can target fraud and reduce vehicle-related crime in the borough.

Report a suspected parking fraud

Each incident will be treated in the strictest confidence. We investigate every case and where suspects are caught we always aim to prosecute.
