My Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)

Pay your Penalty Charge Notice online - link opens in a new window We issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) for parking, moving traffic and bus lane contraventions.

A ticket that is issued by the council for parking, moving traffic and bus lane contraventions is known as a PCN. The council uses Civil Enforcement Officers (formerly known as Parking Attendants), CCTV cameras and smart cars to issue PCNs.

If you receive a PCN you are required to pay a penalty charge for contravening the regulations. This will not result in a criminal record or points on your licence.
