NCP Services are Lambeth's new Parking Enforcement Contractor

The Council has appointed NCP Services to run part of its Parking and Transport Enforcement Operation in the borough in a new five year deal.

NCP Services is the industry leader with a national reputation for the quality of their Civil Enforcement Officers and is renowned for its expertise in staff training.

From 1 August 2008, the Civil Enforcement Officers, wearing smart new green and easily identifiable uniforms, will be out and about helping to keep Lambeth’s streets safe and free from congestion and provide a service for the borough’s residents and users alike.

As well as Civil Enforcement Officers, Lambeth also enforces parking regulations using CCTV and Mobile Smart Cars and is committed to the same high standards across the whole service.

Old style visitors' permits

If you still have some of the old style visitors' permits which have the year 2007 on them, you may continue to use them but you must not scratch out the year section.  Alternatively you can visit one of our customer centres or our parking shop and exchange them for the new style permits.

Cessation of clamping

Clamping of vehicles on Lambeth's roads will cease on 1 April 2008, except in extreme circumstances. In the most serious cases - where vehicles are causing an obstruction or are parked dangerously - the council will still retain the power to remove the vehicles to the car pound.

Clamping will continue on Lambeth housing estate roads to ensure tenants are not affected by carelessly parked vehicles.
