Kennington sub-zone visitor and trader permits

The new Kennington sub-zone was introduced on the 23 April 2007.

All residents in the new 'KSR' sub-zone received a letter explaining that they need to exchange their current 'KR' or 'KB' permit to a 'KSR' or 'KSB' permit.

However, the letter did not mention that people who had brought 'KR' visitor or trader permits need to exchange these for new 'KSR' visitor/trader permits.

You can exchange your permits by:

• visiting one of our parking shops with your old visitor/trader permit and proof of address as outlined in the resident permit application form.
• posting them to Kennington Parking Shop, Lambeth Towers, 74-80 Kennington Road, London, SE11 6NJ along with a photocopy of proof of address as outlined in the resident permit application form.

Differential parking charges

A new two tier system of penalty charges for parking, moving traffic and bus lane contraventions was introduced across London on 1 July 2007.

More serious contraventions will be charged at a higher rate and less serious contraventions will be charged at a lower rate. Find out more about the differential charges.
