Teacher parking permit
If you work as a teacher in a school in Lambeth you may be entitled to apply for a teacher parking permit.
What is a teacher permit?
The teacher permit:
- is vehicle specific
- allows you to park your vehicle in resident and resident shared-use bays in the Controlled Parking Zone where the school is based.
Who is eligible
To be eligible for a teacher permit you must produce a:
- typed letter on letterheaded paper, signed by the Head Teacher or other school official confirming that you are a member of staff
- valid Certificate of Insurance.
Parking permit price
You can pay, in person, by cash, cheque, postal order or credit card. A cheque guarantee card will be needed. Advanced applications by post can be paid by using cheque or postal order. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'London Borough of Lambeth'. Do not send cash through the post.

Renewing a parking permit
Renewals can be made by post. Complete the application form, include photocopies only of your supporting documentation along with your cheque or postal order made payable to: ‘London Borough of Lambeth’ and send it all to Parking Business Support, Lambeth Housing, Regeneration and Environment, PO Box 51929, London SW9 9YR.
