Parking Permit Exchange

We are offering residents the chance to exchange their parking permits. In return they will receive a £200 voucher towards a new bicycle or car club membership and drive hours.

The aim is to reduce the amount of resident cars in Lambeth whilst promoting alternative modes of transport. This will ease congestion, improve air quality and increase the number of available parking spaces.

The scheme is open to any Lambeth resident who has held their parking permit for at least two years and who has sold their car.

How to apply

Applicants have the choice of receiving either:

• Membership and drive hours with either: City Car Club, Street Car or Zipcar
• A £200 voucher towards a bicycle at Apex Cycles in Clapham

Download and complete the Parking Permit Exchange application form and post it, along with your residents’ permit and proof of sale (V5 document) of your vehicle to:

If successful, you will receive a confirmation letter and vouchers for either Apex Cycles or your chosen car club. In addition to this you will receive a refund for the remaining value of your permit. If you have been unsuccessful, you will receive a letter detailing the reasons for the decision.

Please note: Residents who give up their parking permit in exchange for vouchers will not be eligible to apply for another Lambeth residents’ permit under the same name or for the same vehicle registration number for two years. Lambeth Council reserve the right to cancel the offer at any time.
