The Your London website has a live traffic and roadworks tool that gives you information on current congestion, planned road works, and scheduled events.
You can choose the area you'd like information on, and choose betwen different map styles and views across the capital.

Construction work is being carried out in Brixton town centre as part of an ambitious redevelopment programme for Brixton Road. The programme is expected to take around nine months to complete.
