Ruskin Area 20mph Zone

Following residents' concerns about road safety in the Ruskin area, Lambeth in conjunction with community groups have developed proposals and now asks for your views.

We are proposing to introduce a 20mph zone in order to reduce the danger on roads within your residential area. It aims to lower vehicle speeds and improve the general environment  so that residents are encouraged to walk and cycle more. 

20 mph zones need to be self-enforcing and therefore traffic calming measures are required. We have indicated locations and describe different types of measures to assist you in your response.
